Et Lux Perpetua
“O Death, you are a bitter pill” - so tells us composer Hans Leo Hassler. Certainly, humans have feared and railed against death throughout our existance. However death, or the loss of someone close to us, can also bring peace — and hope for what may come next. It is this hopefulness that the Bell'Arte Singers will explore in a thoughtful and uplifting concert featuring Herbert Howells' haunting and light-filled Requiem.
