Margot Rejskind

Dr. Rejskind serves on the faculty of the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, where she is a member of the Choral and Voice Faculties. She received both her Doctorate in Music Arts (Choral) and Master of Music (Choral) from the University of Illinois, and attained her Bachelor of Fine Arts (Vocal Performance) degree from Concordia University in Montreal.

Dr. Rejskind has directed choirs of all types, in both the US and Canada; currently she directs The Men of Note, a male voice choir based in Stouffville, Ontario, and also serves as Choir Director at Melville Presbyterian Church in West Hill, Ontario. Dr Rejskind now resides in Toronto with her partner Dick, their daughter Amelia and two cats.

Dr. Lee Willingham, Music Director 1998 — 2008

Dr. Lee Willingham

Lee ended his 20 year association with the Bell'Arte Singers as Music Director at the end of the 2007 - 2008 season. As of Sept. 2007:

Lee Willingham is Associate Professor of Music at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, where he specializes in music education and choral programs. Prior to his appointment at WLU, he served on the faculty of the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of University of Toronto.

He is the founder and former director of the Bell'Arte Singers of Toronto, and has re-established the Laurier Singers Chamber Choir.

Dr. Willingham devotes much time to teacher education and choral singing. He has adjudicated and provided workshops for students and choral conductors across Canada and in the U.S. This year he has worked with the Vancouver Kiwanis Music Festival, MusicFest in Ottawa and London, Ontario Men's Choral Association, Centre Wellington Choir, Peel Honour Choir, various other ensembles and associations.

He serves as editor of the Canadian Music Educator, a national journal for teachers, and was cochair of the Uniting our Voices national music education symposium at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa in June 2008.
